The Xbox One vs the PS4. This will feature both the Xbox One and the PS4. We will bring you up to speed about these two soon to be launched gaming consoles.
Starting off, everyone wants to know the price! It seems the Xbox One will be $100 more than the PS4 on release date. You can buy a Xbox One for the price of $499.99, compared to the PS4 which will be #399.99. The Xbox One will include the Kinect on all launch units, which explains the $100 price difference. The Xbox One will be releasing in the US on 11/22/2013, and the PS4 will be releasing in the US on the 11/15/2013.
Let's talk about some hardware. The Xbox One and PS4 will be shipping with 500GB hard drives. The Xbox One and PS4 will both be holding 8GB of ram. The Xbox One and PS4 will both include Blu-ray/DVD players, which is new to Xbox users! What it really comes down too is CPU, and graphics. The Xbox One will have a 8 Core Microsoft custom CPU, while the PS4 will have a Single-chip x86 AMD "jaguar" processor, 8 core. The Xbox One CPU will preform around 1.31 TeraFLOPS/s, and the more effecting PS4 will preform around 1.84 TeraFLOPS/s.
Overall, what most people are saying that these two systems seems to look graphically the same (besides some shading differences in game play). The PS4 will only allow 4 controllers to play at once, different from the PS3 7 controller connect. It seems the Xbox One will allow you to connect up to 8 controllers at once. The PS4 will include bluetooth, and the Xbox one will stay with it's choice of Infrared (IR) Both the Xbox One and PS4 will have a voice command system. The Xbox One will have one extra USB 3.0 port, compared to PS4 2 USB 3.0 ports. This also brings up the point has Microsoft and Sony finally fixed all these over heating issues with this new hardware? RROD(Red Ring of Death)

What about online play? For Xbox One users, to play online you will still have to get a Xbox Gold Membership Account. They are $5 a Month, or $60 a Year. Honestly, the Xbox is not complete without a Xbox Gold Membership Account. It unlocks tons of features on the Xbox One. Without a Xbox Gold Membership Account, your Xbox One can only do so much. Now, with the PS4 you will be able to use your PS4 as normal. You can even use the DVR feature without a Playstation's Plus membership. You will have to purchases a Playstation Plus membership to play online. Playstation's Plus Memberships are $4.16 a Month, or $50 a year.
Overall, the question is which is better? I would go towards the PS4 for it's overall better hardware, and speed. Graphically there isn't a huge difference between the two. I also like that I don't have to pay $60 a year to "use" my console the way it's meant to be used.
