Nokia N1

You may think that Nokia is completely owned by Microsoft but in fact, Nokia only sold its phone making division to Microsoft and is now hitting the tablet market. The Nokia N1 is coming soon to a store shelf near you and it is a nice tablet- if you have ever wanted an iPad Mini Android version. Yes, Nokia is entering the tablet market and YES the Nokia N1 is set to be a great tablet with a nice design. Nokia’s N1 has improved the Apple iPad Mini design. The Nokia N1 has a slightly larger screen than the iPad Mini: 7.9-inches verses 7.87-inch. The Nokia weighs slightly less at 318g and is slightly thinner at 6.9mm verses 7.5mm.     n1-nokia The Nokia N1 will have an IPS LCD screen that will be Quad HD as well as the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 plus an Intel Atom Z3580 Quad core 2.3 GHz processor. Also, the Nokia N1 comes with 32 GB of internal space and 2 GB of RAM. The storage that the Nokia N1 has is not too bad but it would be nice to have a microSD card slot to expand your memory, if you wanted. At least it is higher than some other models that have just 8 or 16 GB and not external storage options. The rear camera on the Nokia N1 is just an 8 megapixel but it does have autofocus and geo-tagging. Also, you can video in 1080p HD. The front camera is a nice- at 5 megapixels. The 5 megapixel front camera is becoming the standard on tablets and smartphones and with the world of Selfies, having a good front camera is a bonus. One thing the Nokia N1 has that is a first on tablets is the USB Type-C socket. The Nokia N1 will have a reversible USB ports. The technology is a great asset to the industry and will be quite useful. Nokia-N1 Another thing that will be a first on the Nokia N1 is Nokia’s Android launcher, Z Launcher as well as Google’s Lollipop. The Nokia Z Launcher has simplified the home screen with the way it displays apps and allows for you to completely customize your home screen. Critics believe that the Nokia N1 will be a great competitor for the iPad Mini. The Nokia N1 was similar shape, size and even meets the hardware standards of Apple. The Nokia N1 is Android and a great tablet. The specifications are outstanding and the Nokia N1 will cause rival tablets to take a second look. The Nokia N1 will come in two different colors: Natural Aluminum and Lava Gray. nokia_n1_details_-_side_key What does the Nokia N1 bring to the tablet market? The Nokia N1 brings a great looking device, similar to the look of the iPad Mini. The Nokia N1 has a great processor, sufficient internal storage and a fair amount of RAM. A great thing about the Nokia N1 is that the tablet will have a 5-megapixel front facing camera for selfies or using Skype. The Nokia N1 was just announced and will release in China first- around February and will finally release in the United States soon. I believe that the Nokia N1 will give tablet fans another great choice and decisions will become increasingly hard.
