I just thought I was waiting on the Note 6, but after reading the rumors over the Samsung Galaxy S7, I am “fan-girling” over the Galaxy S7. The Samsung Galaxy S7 is going to be a GREAT addition to the Galaxy line if the specifications hold true.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is rumored to have an ultra high super AMOLED 4K or 5K LCD screen that is about 5.7 inches. Also the Samsung Galaxy S7 rumors say it will sport a new STRONGER glass called Turtle Glass that Samsung is developing. Also, the Samsung Galaxy S7 could be housed in a different kind of metal. It is rumored that Samsung is working on a metal composition using a magnesium alloy to create a lightweight yet durable casing. The new metal touts the ability to allow heat to escape as well. AS the rumors continue, it seems that the main outside parts will be metal and glass. Some rumors have the LCD with no bezel- it will actually just curve over the edge of the device (not be curved but bend over). But there is a rumor that the Samsung Galaxy S7 may be Samsung’s first curved smartphone but only time will tell.
The outside of the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be gorgeous but this girl loves the power behind this device. The Samsung Galaxy S7 may come with a Quad-core 4.0 GHz 64-bit processor, either 6 or 8 GB of RAM and come loaded with Android Marshmallow. Also, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be ready for 5G Network. Can it be out yet????
The chipset rumored could be Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 but other rumors point to the fact that Samsung is now using its own brand- the Exynos chipset. The Exynos M1 is reportedly more powerful than the Snapdragon 820 in almost every aspect.
The rumor for the camera is to keep the 16 MP rear facing camera and have a 5 MP front facing camera. This does not seem like an improvement but the picture quality is one of the best on the market but there could be a duo- camera similar to the one on the HTC One M8.
The battery specifications have yet to be released, but rumors have a non-removable, sealed battery as with the Galaxy S6 line. Samsung has chosen this route to keep the beautiful design of the phone while adding a powerful battery. The Galaxy S7 will come with at least 64 GB of internal storage as well. If these predictions hold true, then the Samsung Galaxy S7 could be one of the most powerful smartphones released. The design is AMAZING and I am willing to give up my removable battery and external memory for the Samsung Galaxy S7. If you are a Galaxy lover, then you will love this smartphone and those who are not, will be eyeing a Galaxy S7 with wanting in their eyes. As for me, I will impatiently wait the release of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and hope that the rumors do not disappoint this Galaxy lover. Come on April (maybe earlier) 2016.....I need this smartphone. The only road-block to me owning the Samsung Galaxy S7, is the possible price tag- rumors range from $650 to $1200 for the Galaxy S7.
